The Hobbit to Mistral Exit[edit | edit source]
Ascending the muddy slope to the right in the Hobbit leads to a large walking passage, normally with a good draught. This leads to a large flat-roofed chamber, with an ascent up a muddy boulder slope. A well-trodden route continues, before the roof lowers to a crawl with a strong draught. The crawl passes various boulder obstacles, and then narrows slightly at a blasted section. Soon daylight is reached at the bottom of the Mistal Hole entrance climb (handline in situ, April 2016).
