Safety information and disclaimer[edit | edit source]

The information in this wiki is provided in good faith. However, the contributers take no responsibility for the accuracy of the information provided. Caving is potentially dangerous: you use the information here at your own risk.

Flooding is a potential risk in many parts of the system. In wet or very wet conditions, the main streamways become impassible, and several other passages flood to the roof.

Loose boulders are an issue in a few parts of the cave, including Molluscan Hall, much of Boundary Pot, and the choke at the upstream end of Thackray's Passage.

Fixed aids should be used with caution.

Specific known hazards are normally noted; but the absence of such a warning does not imply that the passage is safe.
